Giraffes!

Hello 😁, This week we had to pick a book from National Geographic!  that gave your facts and more information about an animal i chose giraffes! I really enjoyed learning about them at first i didnt know much about them but now i now loads of facts which you can see in the slide i made :) WALT:To understand what we are reading by answering questions about the text.

Different types of medias.

Last week and this we were learning about different medias, a media is technically 2different ways to find information like newspapers, and radios, video games and stuff like that you get most of your information off those type of things it is also a shared platform where info is easily accessed in a variety of forms eg. radio, newspaper, internet.

Pigeon Create Task.

Hey guys!
This week my class, Ruru and the other class Kereru are doing swimming!, during that we have all chosen a book all together in our swimming groups!, that book was "Don't let the pigeon drive the Bus!" we had 9 tasks to chose our of including drawing the pigeon or writing a story about him. I chose to draw the pigeon in disguise, It looks pretty funny just take a look!

A Piece of paradise

This week we had to make an animation with the same moral as the story we chose, This week i chose A Piece of Paradise. It was about not being selfish and sometimes you need a friend by your side!, Our  WALT:Use clues from the text to find the hidden message  Anyways this is my presentation hope you like it!

Helicopter Experiment!

For the past 4 weeks we have been doing experiments with paper helicopters and paper clips. And whilst we were doing that we had make a presentation and observe some stuff, like if the paper helicopter went faster or slower when we added the paper clips, we had a limit of 5 paper clips and added 1 each time and timed how long it was, some things i observed was that it went faster each time I added paper clips. Anyways this is my presentation, hope you enjoy it!.

Matariki art

As you may know this week we are doing stuff for Matariki. This time its Matariki art, i made this art with pastel,Stencils (made out of hard paper). The art is mountains and matariki Auora lights  WALT To identify and summarise then main idea across different texts . Hope you like!
